  • Who are we?

    We’re a bunch of “Olde Salts” that want to share our products with you at reasonable prices. Our products were initially only available to charter and party boat captains but now we’ve expanded so any fishing enthusiast can obtain our products.

  • Where can I get more information about you?

    Check the About Us page. Talk to your fellow fishermen or boat captains from New Jersey to Maine and ask if they know us or our products! “Olde Salts” love to talk so I’m sure they will be glad to share a story with you. You can also join our mailing list to see any new products or information about us.

  • Your stuff looks familiar!

    Olde Salt Tackle has been around for over 20 years, and it’s a trusted brand by many fishermen and captains. You might have used our products on a charter or party boat before and not even realized! If you’ve been to any fishing flea markets or trade shows in the Tri-State area, you might have seen our booth there.

  • Where are you located?

    We do not have a brick and mortar store. You can catch us in person at one of the many fishing flea markets and trade shows we are a part of in the Tri State area.

  • How can I find out more information about these flea markets and trade shows?

    Olde Salt participates in several sport fishing flea markets and trade shows in the Tri State area every year. For more information please check the blog on our site and join the mailing list! Also check your local fishing publications like “The Fisherman” or “On the Water”.

  • Why is it taking so long to ship?

  • Where is my tracking information?

    Orders are typically processed within 1-5 business days. Some of our products are stored in different warehouses and it might take a day or two to gather and package.

  • Tracking said it was delivered but where is my stuff?

    Once the package is in the hands of the delivery service we cannot tell you where your order is. Please contact the shipping provider with the tracking number that you were provided from us, and see if they can help locate your package.

  • My order is wrong!

    We are very sorry that this happened, please contact us and we will do our best to remedy the issue.

  • My order arrived damaged!

    If the shipping box is damaged, resulting in product damage, please contact the shipping provider.

    If your product is damaged because of the internal packaging (and shipping box is intact), then please contact us. We may ask you to provide images to detail the damage (including the images of the shipping box). We will evaluate all the information that you provide and we will do our best to remedy the situation.

  • Can I cancel my order?

    Yes orders can be cancelled on our website before it is shipped. Once we provide you with the shipping information your order is on its way to you. If you do not want this product, you can return the unopened/unused products but we will not refund the shipping to or from as listed in our return policy.

  • Is there shipping insurance?

    Depending on the type of shipping that you have chosen, shipping insurance is provided by the carrier that we offer on our website. Some shipping methods may not include insurance, please refer to the carrier’s website for details.

  • Returns

  • Did you read our return policy?

    TL;DR version here: Yes you can return unused and unopened products to us within 30 days. We will not refund you on any shipping charges.

  • Can I return it in person?

    i. Please contact us and we will evaluate whether or not we can make it happen.
